WE ARE THE (West Coast) CORPS!

I sometimes feel like I'm the only West Coast listener, except for one who left a voice message from Oregon and as it turns out Jason because I was surprised to find out Nevada is in PST and not in MST. So I was wondering and decided to try to map out where the registered 44 of us on the forum are. Check out the poll.

We used to have more Pacific listeners. And let me tell you, scheduling across time zones for Jason or anybody else sucks. We are very lucky that Chad is only an hour off eastern time.

You think scheduling across only four timezones is bad, I'm recording a podcast with two guys from the UK. 8 hr difference. We're recording 2:30 in the afternoon my time. It's called The Newb 52 if anyone wants to check it out. We're just starting so our quality isn't great at the moment. I'm responsible for all the Lantern books we review (including Earth 2).

Halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento, it's a small city or a large town, depending who you ask, called Vacaville. I've been to Vancouver once for a wedding, it is really beautiful there. I even thought about one day permanently settling down there. There have also been some awesome shows shot up there and it's home to a nice voice acting community.

That reminds me, Hasbro has said that the 4th Transformers movie will host a completely new set of Robots, I hope that means we might be seeing the Beast era bots soon. BEAST WARS!!

CabinetI know Sliders and Stargate are both Canadian made. Are they from Vancouver?

Stargate, Supernatural, Smallville, at least part of 21 Jump Street.

Yes they are. Wikipedia lists 275 movies and 149 tv series filmed in Vancouver or "Hollywood North" as they call it. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't see a film crew set up in downtown Vancouver. Just yesterday one of the streets was blocked off and they made it look like one of the office buildings had blown up all over the street.

Some comic related films include the X-Men films, Watchmen, the Blade films, Catwoman, the Fantastic Four films etc. I'm probably missing a bunch.

I'm glad as a member of the West Coast Corps that we get to claim Coast City as one of ours.
