GL Reading Chronology

Spectral Twilight sounds pretty good to me.... the only alternative I can think of would be "Fall of the Corps". That way, it could look on the shelf like a nice thematic trilogy of "War of the Green Lanterns", "Fall of the Corps", and "Rise of the Third Army".

I like Spectral Twilight, but wonder if you might want to save that for a point down the road. I don't think the actual war of light has happened, and ramping up to that may fit better with Spectral Twilight.

Corwin: As I'm sure you've heard, DC has announced a new series titled 'Threshold'. Seeing as that it spins out of a New Guardians Annual, features a Green Lantern as a main character, and includes a Larfleeze back-up, are you planning to include it in your Green Lantern binds?

It really depends on if we get some good quality stories.

Since they're numbered we'll probably get a single collection. But I must say they don't connect the issues very well.

I almost think you can collect the issues in the series' own books and it wouldn't make much of a difference since they all feel like stand-alone issues to me.

Pretty much...and it'll probably stay that way but the event isn't over.

True enough. You got to think that the band is coming together to take on the first Lantern. I have to say though that as a story overall, it hasn't done it for me in the same way some of the other event stories have done.

I still need to finish Threshold but here is what I'm probably going to do for volume 10.

Overall I'm not that impressed. Since I do have the issues (mainly for Larfleeze) I may bind them. I'll have to see how thick this last volume is to see if I can fit the whole run.

Probably best to put the Larfleeze portions in only I think.

Since Ganthet and Sayd get a nice sendoff in Green Lantern number 20 I'm going to move Threshold to the beginning of the next volume. It just doesn't make sense to squeeze it in the end after Johns finishes his run. And it would suck to break up the pacing of the Third Army to squeeze it in.

Some Larfleeze pages does share with the main story.

Probably my last GL bind for a while...until the books pick back up steam.  I will keep mapping though.

Still haven't finalized where to put Larfleeze and Threshold...those can change.  
Volume 12 may be too thick so I may move things around...or take out the Larfleeze/Threshold stuff all together.
Also haven't checked out the Super Girl Red Lantern issues.
