Dan and Chad ramble on and on and on and on and on about nearly every incredible topic you’ve always wanted to hear from the LanternCast. Or so we want you to THINK. Edited by EPIC producer Jame Doyle! Call our voicemail number at 708-LANTERN!

Music by Desinu – “Green Ice”!

Also, I posted this episode. Considering its the first time I've ever done this process, please forgive the title/description of this particular episode. Learning curve HAS to grant me some leniency.

Well, one suggestion I would make is don't post the episode threads as stickies. It pushes down the other talk threads and with enough build up the new talk threads won't even show up on the first page anymore. One of the best things about these forums is that the listeners pretty much have free reign on what we want to talk about and pushing our discussions down kind of gives the subliminal message that the episode threads deserve more attention than what we have to say as fans/friends/listeners of the show.

Its part of the reason I never post on the EMP forums, I can never find what the other fans are talking about because the episode threads take up most of the page.

If Corwin reads this: Sorry if that sounded passive aggressive but that's just my opinion.

What about losing the "chat" thread that nobody looks at anymore and just sticky the most recent episode until the next episode goes up?

I agree with you. That's what drives me nuts about the CGS forums. But there IS some logic to having the most recent episode being a sticky. But other shows (like CGS) do multiple episodes as stickies.

How about JUST the most recent episode as a sticky and the only exception would be something SUPER important. (like very important announcements, etc.)

That sounds like a good idea, definitely helpful for newcomers. Can we also sticky the "Introduce Yourself" Thread like in the old forums?

I feel you guys with the stickies. Which is why I rotate them in and out. A episode stays a sticky until the next one comes along. Then we unsticky the old and sticky the new ep.

As for the EMP forums, we don't have a lot of people over there. We usually have the same core 7 or 8 people with others jumping in and out. If anything the traffic isn't there to make new posts on books. Half the time I start a thread on a big issue and no one really responds...(nudge, nudge)
