So I guess this is some cover branding we have to look forward to. And it kinda looks like the old logo, so that's kinda cool? Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...yeah. This is so, so stupid. This is your grandpa trying to sound "internet cool".

Reminds me of McDonald's "I'd hit that" internet campaign.

So Green Lantern #19 had that gatefold cover. I will say that there was a WTF moment though so that's something. I guess.

Sounds like they did a mediocre job of shocking you.

No. It did shock me but I had forgotten about the WTF stuff and when it was happening until I came across this topic on the forum. I then went back to the issue and saw the gatefold cover and went, "Oh right. This was a thing that was happening. Whatever." I thought the moment itself was bananas and will really be something that will have long-term ramifications to the characters in this book but you didn't need a WTF certified month to get me interested in this. I don' like gimmicks like that. Just give me a good story which Johns did. Honestly, this is, in my opinion, the best issue of the First Lantern story I've read so far.
