Edit- Here's the latest Atrocitus/John Stewart 2 Pack review!

Since I'm not really able to keep up with this feature, but I think it's a great benefit to our listeners, I got someone to take over for me. Mark Marble, part of the LanternCast family and a HUGE fan of Green Lantern merchandise, will now be doing the feature, starting this week with the War of The Green Lanterns 2 pack from Mattel with Yellow Hal and Blue Kyle. Mark's already got a few excellent items on deck, so I think he's going to rock Product of The Week. Check it out!

If there was ever anything from the Mattel line that I would get, this would be it. But the only Mattel I ever got (besides Alan Scott) was Green Lantern and Green Arrow so I could have a display with both of them together in their (almost) classic 70's costumes.

Mostly I don't pick these up because I'd probably start collecting EVERYTHING. I'm content to just leave it at what I have.

But those look amazing and what a complete entry. Way to go Mark!

I actually have this set by the grace of Mark. It's beautiful. I wish they would make Guy and John too. But one of the other cooler Mattel offerings was Sinestro Corp Batman.

I actually really like these figures. I've had them for a while, though. As one of the folks that didn't think we'd actually get them retail, I ended up getting them from eBay.

With the Classics line basically done, I've found that I haven't picked up any new figures in some time. I have mixed feelings about that - love saving the money, but miss the figures... but at the same time, I was seldom pleased with which figures were being offered, so maybe it is for the best.

For me it was always something, whether it be price, character selection or occasional sculpting issues that made me scratch my head.

Also, new post up!

Kinda cool, but I don't collect 3.75" figures, and I'm certainly not willing to pay $25.00 for two of them.

Atrocitus is a great sculpt, though.
