Wound up getting a set after all (Graphitti abandoned the raffle system, haha) and... they're okay figures. I'm not wild about the proportions, which are a bit more cartoon-like that I'd prefer, and they're smaller than Marvel Universe figures.
On the plus side, they do have all the paint quality you'd expect from a DC Direct 6" figure, and the joints all seem very stable, nothing flops around like so many Marvel Universe figures do. I'm a little wary of some of the joints being made of of clear plastic (especially the bar that connects the hips) but DCD's done that before with the larger figures & I haven't had a problem yet.
I'm splitting the set I got with a friend who wanted the Kyle figure, so I'm glad I was able to get Kilowog. I'm not really sure if I'll try to continue the line, since I really prefer the more "realistic" proportions of the 6" figures. But the figures do look really nice otherwise, and you can actually POSE them.
Semi-related, looks like DC's "no late issues" policy still doesn't apply to the DC Collectibles side of the business. Went to 3 comic stores today looking for the new Justice League Hal Jordan figure (which still says July 18th on DCC's site) only to be told (the the 3rd store) the figure was delayed. Yay.
